We keep breathing. We keep hoping.

People always tell you to “let go,” as if heartbreak and sorrow were illnesses—curable, treatable, erasable.

But pain doesn’t simply vanish; it settles deep within us, embedding itself in our very cells, weaving into the fabric of our DNA.

“So then, what do we do when the pain doesn’t end?”

“We go on living. We hold on to hope.”

And we pray that hope is not devoured by the darkness….
